I absolutely love the hybrid. It makes any mattress better. I even put it on top of a futon and my guests love it. Whenever I call the 800 number to order everyone is always so nice and helpful. We initially bought this topper to put on top of a futon, but liked it so much that we put it on top of our regular mattress instead. It makes getting into bed and pleasure and waking up even better!
3 inch ViscoSoft mattress topper has made my old bed like new
I'm 5' 8'', 190lbs, and a side sleeper. My 12-year old cotton/springs futon is worn to the extent that I was getting pain in shoulders and hips: but I was overwhelmed by the selection of new mattresses. With ViscoSoft topper I am getting the best nights' sleep in a long time.When you unwrap the topper, it takes about 20 minutes to expand to full size. The instructions say it should take 24-48 hours. The first 3 or 4 nights it felt very soft, like a marshmallow, and repositioning was difficult. Also, the smell that other reviewers mention was pronounced though tolerable. By the 5th night, the topper had changed dramatically - it was much firmer and supportive, but soft enough to be comfortable, and repositioning/turning was easy. The smell had also diminished to the point where I can't detect it. Pros:Sleeping better than I have in a very long time; feel rested in the morning;Inexpensive way to rejuvenate my old bed; Mattress topper is soft enough to be comfortable, but supportive; With the straps provided, it fits perfectly over my 8-inch futon and it doesn't move
Perfect remedy for a hard futon mattress

Best topper!
I've had other toppers for my futon and this one is much better. It's very comfortable. I sleep on an old-fashioned all cotton futon which has become rather dense over the years. But with this topper on it, all I feel is the soft and cozy comfort of the memory foam underneath me. I've had other memory foam toppers that were not as good and not as comfortable as this one. I've slept well every night since I received it
