Okay, so I just have to say that I don't often leave reviews, so you know I'm enthusiastic about this! I was on the fence because of the price (which is totally reasonable-- I'm just extremely frugal!). But after working a very long week and waking up to painful hips again, I pulled the trigger and ordered this pad. It came in 2 days, in a small box. I watched the provided video on Amazon so I made sure to do everything right. I opened it and was a little nervous because of how scrunched up it was. I laid it out on my mattress and let it puff up over the next 24 hours (I was sick, so I slept in a chair anyway). I set everything up (love the straps, by the way! Keeps everything in place!), and made my bed. When I finally got into bed, it was enough to make me want to cry with relief! I think my smile reached both ears! :) It is so comfortable, but unlike the usual memory foam, you don't get that 'stuck' feeling. It stays cool, too, which in the summer will be awesome. Also, it did not add too much height to my mattress, which I am happy about, because I liked the way my bed looked. When a family member tested it out, she commented that it smelled like chemicals. I cannot speak to that myself, as I had a cold, so I never smelled a thing! haha So that's the only thing I cannot review.I give this 1,000 stars! Stop whatever you are doing, and if your back hurts, or your mattress is dipping, or you just don't want to shell out $800-$1,000 for a new mattress, BUY THIS! Just what I needed!
Just had my first night on this product, and woke this morning with MUCH less hip, knee, or back pain.I was surprised there was nothing to say that you need to give the memory foam pad some time laid out, to take shape and poof up.I'm hoping the smell goes away pretty soon...?

My daughter was hit by a car and suffered various injuries and had been in a hospital bed for two months. She was extremely uncomfortable but this pad gave her the ability to finally catch some z's. As described/ we recommend.
Worth the cost
This mattress pad came as advertised! It was easy to unwrap and we were able to put it on our bed immediately. It has made sleeping on a condo rental mattress much more enjoyable.
Amazing Topper
I have had this mattress topper for 3 months now- And I love it! Almost too much that it makes it so hard to get out of bed in the morning. I didn't buy this because I have back pain from sleeping, like a lot of the comments on here. I just wanted an extra cushion-y bed, but didn't want to pay $300 for a Tempur-Pedic topper. I love this Read more about review stating Amazing Topperpad and I think it is the closest you will get to the name brand topper :)It came so fast and it did not even take a full 24 hours to expand into full size (I still gave it a day or two just to be sure).
High quality mattress topper
It did take a solid 2 weeks for the chemical smell to disappear. Given its gel, I started sweating a lot because I run hot. I ordered a 100% quilted pad and it's an amazing sleep.

The smell wore off in about 3-4 days and now a couple weeks later you can only smell the foam if you put your nose right against the pad. The weight of the pad kept it mostly in place, so the straps were not needed.This pad is heavy and kind of hard to maneuver. I have it resting flat on a guest bed now, as I didn't want to store it rolled up.Overall happy with it!
