Excellent Quality and Performance
We have a Cal King air bed with a fairly thick pillow top. After about eight years the air mattresses are still in good shape but the pillow top has developed two big sink holes where my wife and I sleep. My back really started bothering me every time I laid down because there was zero support. Rather than spending a ton of money for a new, high eRead more about review stating Excellent Quality and Performancend mattress, we decided to first try the ViscoSoft 3' gel memory foam topper just to see if it would make a difference. Much to our delight, we now have a bed that feels so comfortable I actually look forward to going to bed every night. We placed the ViscoSoft topper right over the worn out pillow top and the results are remarkable. Although some reviewers have said they felt the topper is too soft, we have not found that to be the case. It is very supportive without being overly firm and we have found that to be true in any sleeping position. The corner straps are adjustable and hold the topper solidly in place and, because it comes with a nice cover, we don't even need a mattress pad. We just put the fitted sheet right over the topper and it feels really great. Depending on your mattress depth, you may need deep pocketed sheets since the topper adds another 3 inches. The cover can be removed for cleaning, which is another plus. Overall, I feel we really got a great value for the money. I couldn't be more pleased. Even if it lasts for only a few years and then we need to purchase another topper, we're happy that we still saved a couple of thousand dollars, at least!
