Fantastic for back problems
I got this topper to go on a new mattress that was not quite supportive enough for my back and causing pain. I have mild scoliosis and bulging discs L3-L4 & L4-L5, along with osteoarthritis in the facet joints. Three nights on the topper and the back pain and muscle spasms caused by the new mattress were completely gone. I also like that the topper cover is washable and there was no off gassing at all. High quality and very comfortable. It's like sleeping on a supportive cloud. Definitely recommend!
Quality Mattress Topper
I purchased a new mattress online that turned out to be a little too firm for a side sleeper like myself. After researching mattress toppers and reading the good reviews on ViscoSoft I decided to make the purchase. The 2" topper turned out perfect for reliving pressure points on my shoulder and hips without feeling like I was sinking in too far. I've purchased toppers in the past that didn't work. As soon as you unbox the ViscoSoft topper you can tell the difference in quality. Glad I made the purchase.
Sleeping well in SoCal.
Rather than give a review shortly after purchasing the 3" Select High Density Mattress Topper, we wanted to wait a good amount of time to give an accurate assessment of it. We bought this topper to replace a worn out one that was starting to give us back aches and shoulder pain. It has been just over a year since buying this topper and we use it on a nightly basis. My wife and I absolutely love this topper. Climbing into bed is a pleasure. The topper is firm but not too hard. As you lay down the topper slowly envelopes you and conforms to your shape and supports you in all the right spots making for a very comfortable night of sleep. We live in a warm climate and have no issues at all with this topper holding body heat and getting too hot. We have noticed as the seasons change from summer to winter that the topper also changes slightly. In the summer it is a bit softer and slightly less firm...but not too much. In the winter it becomes more firm upon first laying down but softens up as your body temp warms it up. We would highly recommend this topper if you are looking for a topper that's more on the firmer side. The quality of the topper is outstanding too, from the cover to the 4 straps that hold it in place on your mattress. We are very pleased with our topper.
Well worth the money!
My husband and I bought an inexpensive mattress about five years ago. Over time, it became uncomfortable and we could feel each movement (even twitches) the other made. Though I cringed at the cost, I did my research and bought the High Density Mattress Topper. I couldn't be happier with the purchase! It turned our old mattress into something luxurious. No more aches and pains. It reduces the movement so that we no longer feel each other's every move. It sleeps cool, so I don't wake up feeling overheated. The zippered cover is soft to the touch and the zipper is nearly unnoticeable. When I opened the package, it didn't take long at all to reach full size and there was absolutely no chemical smell! It is a bit heavy if you have arm/shoulder/back issues, so you might need help getting it on the bed. It does travel a bit, so we readjusted the straps and purchased extra deep pocket sheets. That seemed to do it. Overall, we are very pleased with our purchase and would definitely recommend it to others!
High Marks for Comfort
We have been sleeping on this topper for about a month. High marks for comfort. Helps with hip and shoulder pain... The only reason I took a star off is that the queen topper is two inches narrower than our queen mattress. Other than that, very pleased with the purchase.
