The reason I chose the Viscosoft topper is because I do not like the traditional sinking into the bed memory foam feel. I do have an extremely firm dorm room bed and I was worried that this topper would not do enough to soften the bed. When laying on this topper I feel the perfect amount of support and cushion all around my body no matter what position I sleep in. The topper fully masks the bad mattress below, and softens it to the perfect feel. Along with this, I feel the softness and support of the topper without feeling like I am stuck in the mattress. I can move around and change positions easily on this topper. Overall this topper is the perfect topper for someone looking to soften a hard bed without getting that sinking memory foam feel, and someone who wants a topper that is suited for every sleep position.
